Considerations: Their proposal package (currently $350) must be booked in advance and is only available Tuesday – Friday 9am -3pm

The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. The bridge spans the Cumberland River and offers stunning views of downtown Nashville. Considerations: The bridge connects downtown Nashville with the Titan’s stadium on the East side of the river. Check the event calendar for Nissan Stadium as well as Cumberland Park. When their are events at either the bridge can get crowded.

The Parthenon / Centennial Park

The Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece. It’s located in Centennial Park and is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Plan a day exploring the park with your partner, and when you reach the Parthenon, propose in front of this iconic landmark. In addition to the Parthenon this park features some beautiful gardens, bridges and water.


Considerations: Centennial Park does host a few large events throughout the year. Make sure to check their event calendar before setting the date!

Arrington Vineyards

If your partner is a wine lover, consider proposing at Arrington Vineyards. It’s a beautiful vineyard located just outside of Nashville and offers wine tastings, picnics, and live music. Considerations: This park is protected by the State Natural Preservation Act. Going off trail is strictly prohibited and they do have other rules and regulations you must follow or you could be fined.

Rock Island State Park

Considerations: Take a trip out to this spot to scope it out first. There are so many great spots and some can be difficult to get to. This probably isn’t a spot where you want your date in a dress and high heels when you get down on one knee.

Note that many locations in Nashville either restrict photography or require you to have a permit in place in advance.
