Get ready for lovely mountain intimate elopement wedding inspiration!!!😍📷 This is the second in the styled shoots that I did with Rebecca Curtis while I was out in Utah earlier this month (click here to check out the first then hurry back here).  This shoot was sooo much fun for me.  I love combining my love of landscape photography with wedding portraiture as well as shooting in places I’ve never been before.  And seriously you can’t ask for much more picturesque landscapes than the mountains of Utah.  This location completely blew me away!  Don’t be too surprised if I move out there at some point or to Colorado or Oregon or really anywhere out West.

Planning for my landscape shots has taught me so much about light.  When we reached our location in the gorgeous wildflower fields of Alta I knew that we wouldn’t have much light to work with but the light we had was oh so perfect!  As the sun set behind the neighboring mountains I chased the last remnants of light around the field.  It was incredible watching the sky change colors right before our eyes and give us the perfect ending to our shoot.  This shoot was also a great opportunity for me to shoot on film.  I love the contrast in the black and white images that I captured on film so much.  Seriously some of my favorite images ever!

I can’t say enough about the awesome team that put this shoot together and made it happen.  The models Kim and Dele were so much fun to work with and direct and were up for anything and kept up with my fast pace so well!  The bridal gowns that Janay Marie provided were absolutely stunning as were the flowers provide by Une Belle Vue!  Dele wore a very dapper suit by customer designer Perfectly Suited by Garth.  Hair and Makeup were done by the fantastic Katy and Erica respectively and they both knocked it out of the park.  Shoes were by Christian Siriano.  So honored to work with all these great talents!  And especially to Rebecca for producing this and bringing it all together!  I can’t wait to shoot in Utah again!
