Introduction to Digital Photography

Do you own an awesome DSLR camera but are constantly frustrated with the inconsistent photos you take or are stuck on “Auto” mode?  You know that your digital camera is capable of taking great photographs but it seems like the instruction manual was written in a foreign language.  Our introduction to digital photography class is designed to help you move off of “auto” and start capturing the sharp (not blurry!), properly exposed (not too bright or dark) photographs that you will want to hang on your walls.  By the end of the class you will know and understand terms like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field and more!

Our workshops include classroom style instruction and hands on shooting.  Our introductory workshops are limited to 20 students and are held on location near downtown Nashville, TN.

Some of the topics covered in the Introduction to Digital Photography workshop are:

•  How to properly operate your DSLR camera
•  How to get off of “Auto” mode
•  How to get the exposure you want in camera

We do not currently have any introduction classes scheduled.  If you are interested in private tutoring or to be notified once we add new workshop dates please email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Photography Workshop.”

Composition and Posing

We will be hosting a Composition and Posing course on Sunday November 20th at 2:30pm.  It is strongly recommended that participants have previously taken our Introduction to Digital Photography course or have an understanding of using their DSLR camera in manual mode.

To register for this course please email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Composition and Posing Workshop.”
