This was our first time at The White Dove Barn and it is such a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding! We got the most amazing sunset for their portraits with the Tennessee rolling hills in the background. And all the guests had such a good time dancing the night away in the barn!Their ceremony was held in the pavilion chapel at the bottom of the hill by the pond.

Before the ceremony Laura and Robert privately read their personalized vows that they had written to each other. This is definitely one of our favorite wedding trends! It creates such beautiful moments for couples to spend alone time on their wedding day. Bonus if you are worried about public speaking or tearing up in front of a large crowd you can get it out of the way before all the guests arrive!

Just after the ceremony the sun started to set and I could tell we were in for a great sunset! The sunset just kept getting better and better while we were doing Laura and Robert’s portraits. The way her veil caught the light was magical! All the guests were treated to some delicious cupcakes that were made and decorated by the groom! Seriously they were delicious.

At the end of the night after a lot of dancing (and cupcakes) it was time for the night to end. While the guests lined up outside for the sparkler exit, Laura and Robert shared a private last dance. This is something I definitely recommend to all couples! It is the perfect way to cap off the perfect day in the arms of your loved one. Congrats Laura and Robert! We are so happy we got to photograph your beautiful wedding.
