Cozy Christmas Wedding | Oaklands Mansion – Murfreesboro, TN
So I’ve been pretty lucky in that I really love all of the weddings and couples that I get to work with. I try really hard not to have favorites but I do (you know who you are). This particular wedding is pretty unique and special and will always be a favorite of mine because the bride is my mom! I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day and wedding for her.
My sister did a great job on the decorations and coordinating everything. Oaklands Mansion was already done up for Christmas and looked absolutely breathtaking. The staff at the mansion were so great to work with especially Connor Moss who helped us out sooo much on the day of the wedding. A big thanks to my friend Rachel Tenpenny for shooting this wedding with me so that I could be in the wedding and in some of the photographs.
It was so special for me to be able to walk my mom down the aisle with my nephew Carter (in our matching suits and bowties). I’m so proud of my Mom and all that she has accomplished. She has been a great influence on who I am and I feel lucky to have her.
I’m so happy for my mom and how the day turned out! Congrats to her and Steve! 😍📷
My nephew Carter is quite the photographer. He loves taking photos with my cameras and I always try to bring a spare around for him to shoot with. I love the unique perspective that he gets and how much he wants to be like his “Uncle John.” So for Christmas I got him a Fuji Instax Camera and he had a blast taking photos at the wedding.
