When I heard that there was a new team of wedding planners in Nashville that loves edgy, creative, tattooed, converse wearing brides as much as I do, I knew it was only a matter of time before we worked together!  Music from Nashville locals The Black Keys provided inspiration and set the mood perfectly for this styled bridal shoot. I was absolutely blown away by the detailing in the makeup and absolutely loved the elegance of the dress (that is eco-friendly and is made with only 100% natural fibers and fabrics).

I've been looking forward to Ashley and Kolade's wedding since I first met them last year. Ashley's love of all things "green" and eco-friendly goes along perfectly with my desire to give back and help organizations that support sustainable clean water systems. The entire day featured many parts of Ashley and Kolade's personalities (check out Ashley's Converse Chuck Taylors she wore under wedding dress) while retaining a very timeless and elegant feel.  The fact that Ashley and Kolade had a very small bridal party (just one person each) made the whole day feel very close and intimate even among the many guests who attended their wedding and reception.

It has been so much fun getting to know Todd and Cierra over this past year. So we were very excited when their wedding day finally arrived. Todd and Cierra both have such great laid back personalities and that really translated into their wedding.  Their wedding ceremony was held at the Old Hickory Presbyterian Church.  After the ceremony we headed over to the Old Hickory Country Club for an evening of good BBQ, dancing and photobooth fun!
